Corridor Africa Technologies, a leading digital advisory, telecoms infrastructure and smart building solutions provider, announced today that it has successfully completed an independent, third-party audit of its ISO 9001:2015 quality procedures and standards, and has been certified as compliant.

The audit was conducted by third-party auditing firm TÜV Rheinland Inspection Services (Pty) Ltd, which serves as the ISO 9000 registrar for the company.

The independent audit examined Corridor Africa Technologies’ operations and certified its quality processes and procedures as in compliance with the international standard.

The road to certification requires both time and dedication on behalf of all Corridor Africa Technologies employees. After a year of significant growth, even during the disruptions caused by COVID-19, Corridor Africa Technologies moved toward enhancing corporate policies, procedures and tools to ensure scalable and repeatable delivery of high-quality products and services.

“Total quality management is ingrained in every aspect of our business; taking this step serves to further demonstrate our commitment to customers, partners, employees and stakeholders,” said Matone Ditlhake, Chief Executive Officer at Corridor Africa Technologies. “We want to build quality into every process, and every employee is responsible for quality. We are deeply committed to the timely delivery of reliable, high-quality products and services, delighting our customers, and providing superior service.

Kobus Vosloo, General Manager ,Telecoms Digital Infrastructure Implementation, added that with the advent of 5G technology, thus creating the need for network densification, the TUV ISO9001:2015 QMS certification ensures the implementation of such projects results in guaranteed quality in equipment supply, workmanship and after-sales service.

Through the ISO 9001:2015 certification, Corridor Africa Technologies has validated its quality management system to provide the processes necessary to support our commitment.

ISO 9001:2015 is an international standard that provides a practical and workable Quality Management System (QMS) for monitoring, measuring and improving all areas of a business. It outlines a framework for improving quality and establishing a common communications vocabulary for processes and procedures governing the delivery of products and services to exacting standards that consistently meet customer requirements.

A QMS provides the foundation of aligning and streamlining operating practices to bring down costs, manage and resolve discrepancies, meet regulatory requirements, achieve superior customer satisfaction, and help organisations expand into new markets.

Ditlhake noted that ISO 9001 certification is increasingly crucial for businesses involved in complex technology and industrial ventures that require their service providers to demonstrate a common, validated and industry-accepted standard of quality management principles and practices.

“We serve the telecommunications, energy/utilities and other major industries for which ISO certification is required just to get on a bid list,” he said.
